Thank you for visiting our site and for taking the time to learn more about our foundation. Our goal as a non-profit foundation is to bring awareness to Cystic Fibrosis and to provide you with ways you can help us in our fight to better the lives of patients living with CF.
The Kevin A Przybyl Breathe Easy Foundation has a very specific mission. Our focus is not on raising funds for research, but on raising funds to allow patients living with cystic fibrosis to receive benefits such as medications and treatments that breakthrough research is providing. These advances are helping CF patients live more productive lives, however in many instances they come with a high price tag. Unfortunately, since many patients living with CF are disabled, unable to work, or are uninsured, they face financial difficulties related to their illness. This Foundation will help provide the much needed assistance to Cystic Fibrosis patients throughout the United States.
This website also allows CF patients to interact, which can often be difficult for patients to do in person. Burkholderia cepacia is a bacteria that can be transmitted through casual contact or close proximity with infected individuals, and is highly contagious to individuals living with CF. If infected, the bacteria can lead to serious respiratory illness that can result in a fatal rapid decline in lung function. Our website provides patients and their families a safe means of communication and support by becoming members and interacting online through our live chat and forums.
We are currently working towards raising funds to provide essential medications, doctor visits, and nutrition to CF patients across the country. Cystic Fibrosis patients interested in receiving assistance can fill out and mail in our application. We will continue to provide assistance to those who are most in-need for as long as funds are available.
